I conveys vigour, depth, and elegance, revealing an eclectic soul. It opens fiercely, thanks to the spicy and opulent top notes of bergamot, saffron, and thyme. Perfumer
Julien Rasquinet
From a young age, Julien Rasquinet found in creative arts a powerful means of expression. He loved painting, drawing, designing, and creating costumes for theatre and puppets. However, it wasn’t until after graduating from business school that he discovered his true passion for perfumery. A serendipitous encounter with the renowned perfumer Pierre Bourdon changed his life. Recognizing Julien’s potential, Bourdon offered to mentor him. Over three years of intensive training, Pierre shared his philosophy, techniques, and passion, shaping Julien into the visionary perfumer he is today.
Distinctive note
Leather accord
Smell: The leather accord offers soft and enveloping notes typical of suede, with musky, woody, and balsamic hints.
Origin: The history of Florentine leather dates back to 1282 with the creation of the Arte dei Cuoiai o Galigai (Curriers or Tanners Guild). Initially, tanning took place downstream of Ponte Vecchio, where hides were soaked in the Arno River. By the sixteenth century, this guild had reached its zenith, making Florence a renowned center for leather craftsmanship worldwide.
Extraction: The leather accord is a creation of the perfumer, built around the warm and rich notes of suede, evoking the luxurious texture and scent of Florentine leather.
